If ever there was an artist perfect for the new touring hologram technology that’s now available, it’s Frank Zappa.

The Zappa camp released a teaser trailer of sorts for “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa,” a new touring show that will feature the likes of Ray White, Mike Keneally, Scott Thunes, Robert Martin and Ed Mann with Joe “Vaultmeister” Travers fronted by a hologram of the legendary, late Zappa.  They will also be joined by special guests Steve Vai, Ian Underwood, Lady Bianca, Napoleon Murphy Brock and Arthur Barrow.

While no dates have been announced for “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa,” the tour is currently slated to take place at some point in 2019.  Frankly, if this teaser is of any indication, it looks to be the first hologram tour a fan base could really get excited about.
