Noah Kahan is a singer-songwriter from Vermont whose style is folk-infused pop. Kahan began writing songs at just eight years old and uploaded them to SoundCloud, where his music began to gain exposure. Nine years later, Noah’s music caught the attention of songwriters who have worked with the likes of Adele and Carrie Underwood.
The Vermont native pursued his music career at Tulane University. In 2016, he signed with Republic Records and began working with producer Joel Little, known for his work with Lorde and Khalid. The pair recorded six songs, one of which was his first hit, “Young Blood.” In 2019, Kahan released his debut studio album Busyhead. The following year, he dropped Cape Elizabeth, which he recorded in his friend’s home studio in Vermont.
Noah’s music took no breaks and in 2021, his second full-length album, I Was/I Am, was released. Shortly after, he announced his first tour of the same name. Another year, another tour for the indie folk artist. In 2022, he announced his Stick Season tour. By this time, Noah became a fan-favorite, growing in popularity over TikTok.
