Taylor Swift is officially a billionaire. Following the launch of her Eras Tour, Bloomberg reports the musician reportedly generated as much money as the economies of small nations. According to the publication, the singer earned $80 million from music sales, has $110 million in current property values, has earned $120 million from streaming earnings, $370 million in ticket sales and merchandise, and her re-released music since 2019 has an estimated $400 million value. As we previously reported, Swift’s 21-city stop across North America in the first leg of her Eras Tour saw each city receive an economic boost. This includes record-breaking hotel revenues and increased visitor spending.
From the Vault
With the Friday (October 27) release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version), the re-recording features five “From the Vault” tracks, including “Slut!,” “Say Don’t Go,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Suburban Legends,” and “Is It Over Now?” There were notably no features on Swift’s “From the Vault” songs this time around. Quite obviously, “Slut!” addresses the public perception of her love life, with lyrics like: “And if they call me a slut, you know it might be worth it for once.” The song also seems to be another reference to her romance with Harry Styles. She sings, “Everyone wants him. That was my crime. The wrong place at the right time. And I break down, then he’s pullin’ me in. In a world of boys, he’s a gentleman.”

“Say Don’t Go” describes Swift’s anxiety and despair in a failing relationship she knew “from the very start.” The next “From the Vault” track, “Now That We Don’t Talk,” references her brief romance with Styles again. She sings about his hair growing out and how it looks like he’s changing, “but I guess I don’t have a say now that we don’t talk.” Her fourth “From the Vault” track is “Suburban Legends,” where the singer reflects on her past love with Styles or Conor Kennedy, whom she was dating during this era. With lines, “When you hold me, it holds me together, and you kiss me in a way that’s gonna screw me up forever.” Taylor makes obvious references to the end of her relationship with Harry in the final “From the Vault” track, “Is It Over Now?” The shadiest line about Styles is: “You search in every model’s bed for somethin’ greater, baby.” Following their 2013 breakup, the former One Directioner was linked to models Kendall Jenner, Nadine Leopold, and Camille Rowe over the years.
