Build-Your-Own-Burrito Chain Coming To Dover

Hungry Delawareans are in for a treat as a new build-your-own-burrito chain is coming to Dover.

BurritoBar will be opening in the Capital Station Shopping Center on Route 13.

Aldi, Starbucks, Red Robin, and Walgreens are all planned for the shopping center.

“There are other places in Dover where you can get tacos and burritos, but I think BurritoBar’s menu is very unique,” Patel said. “They have their own sauces and salsa, and they do a panini-press style of burrito that helps keep everything together – it’s pressed tight enough for you to eat on the go. They also have seafood options like their bang bang shrimp.” (Delaware Business Times)

So What Can You Expect From The BurritoBar in Dover?

The chain is actually a Canadian based build your own burrito restaurant.

Their menu has a pretty expansive selection of chicken including jerk chicken! Jerk chicken burritos are severely underrated in my opinion.

Ground beef, bang bang shrimp, and chorizo will also be featured at BurritoBar in Dover.

The new Mexican joint isn’t just limited to burritos. Customers can grab tacos, quesadillas, and extreme fries!

Extreme fries consists of fries loaded with your choice of Protein, Queso & Fresh Veggies.

Customers can also grab BurritoBar for their catering needs.

BurritoBar is actually called BarBurrito in Canada and they have locations spanning the entire country.

“Ever since we opened the first Barburrito in Toronto in 2005, we’ve built on our reputation of offering great quality Tex-Mex food, fresh, fast, and without compromise. We may not be the only burrito in town, but we’ve certainly raised the bar” according to their website.

Their website also touts fresh guacamole, healthy alternatives, and food that combines everything customers love about old-fashioned cuisine with a new twist.

12 Popular Fast Food Joints Delawareans Are Missing Out On

When driving down the road in Wilmington or Newark or Rehoboth Beach, there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of popular fast food options.  There’s a McDonald’s, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell or some other drive-thru fast food stop on pretty much every corner.

I was recently in Southwest Florida and I did take notice of some fast food options we don’t have up here in Delaware.  It got me thinking.  Are we missing out on some dynamite fast food spots?

In doing a quick Google search to find out about the most popular fast food brands across the country, I quickly learned that we are in fact missing out on some very popular options across the country.  I have tried several of these places, so I can speak from experience.   We may need to start some petitions.

Luckily, we now have the long awaited, first Raising Cane’s location, so that’s one brand we can add to the list of what we do have here in the First State.  The stand alone restaurant, with a drive-thru, is located at 127 Grove Lane in Newark.

According to The Raising Cane’s website, their concept is simple and unique.  They say they only have ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals! At Raising Cane’s you get an exceptionally high quality product served quickly and conveniently. We can do this because we offer a limited menu.  You can learn more about Raising Cane’s here.

I haven’t tried Raising Canes yet, but I am really looking forward to giving the chicken fingers a try!
