WHAT IN THE WHEEL Kyle Goes On A Sea Excursion
When the wheel landed on Kyle, Deanna and Justin decided to ask him about his “Deep Sea Exploration” curiosity.
Kyle said “I’ve really been super interested in deep sea exploration and anything under the sea since I’ve read the autobiography of Richard Branson, founder of Virgin.” For those who may not know, Branson has studied aviation and the history of aviation for quite some time.
The book explains how aviation became one of the biggest industries in our world and how we wouldn’t actually be here without it. From satellites for farms, travelling, predicting weather, we have aviation to thank. But as everyone is now concerned with space, Branson included, he also noted how majority of the sea has not been touched, even though it doesn’t require us to leave this planet. That resonated with Kyle.
Why do we know so little? Why would we rather leave our planet, then search and explore what’s right beneath us?
We know very little about our waters. Everyone assumes we know what there is to know. But the truth is, we know such a miniscule amount. Branson has plans to explore further into the sea and expand future inventions to withstand the deep pressures of underwater. And that excites Kyle.
Although he couldn’t go in a submarine, he did get his start to deep sea exploration with snorkeling. Something that is much less frightening than other aquatic exploration. While in the Bahamas, he went snorkeling and got to see many fish. We’re not sure what kind of fish they were, but they were there.
We also included swimming with the pigs, which Grace and Kyle did while on the island. “Call us tourists, but they’re swimming pigs!”, Kyle said.
Who doesn’t want to experience that at least once?
