Rock Hall Announces New Podcast Dedicated to Past Induction Speeches
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is launching its very first podcast which will highlight past speeches from its induction ceremonies.
Per Variety, the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Vault” will launch with four episodes on November 6, a day before the premiere of its 2020 induction class special airing on HBO and HBO Max. Four additional episodes will drop on November 13. After that, new episodes will premiere every Friday through the end of 2020, and a second season of the podcast is planned for 2021.
Rock Hall President and CEO Greg Harris told Variety that the podcast would feature longer versions of speeches originally edited for broadcast saying, “We’ve had snippets of things released on our website and YouTube, but this is going back to the original masters in the vault.”

As a reminder, the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction special will air on HBO and HBO Max Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 8 p.m. EST. This year’s inductees include Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T-Rex, and Ahmet Ertegun Award honorees Jon Landau and Irving Azoff.
