Delaware Extends It’s COVID-19 State of Emergency
On Friday Governor John Carney extended Delaware’s State of Emergency for another 30 days to confront the spread of COVID-19 throughout the First State.
According to WRDE.com, Carney stated, “we are working with communities and the division of public health to prevent the spread of this virus as we prepare for a resurgence”. He also reminded Delawareans to continue to wear their masks and avoid large gatherings. Carney believes we are beating COVID-19 but we can’t erase the progress we’ve made so far this year.
