Wife of DE COVID-19 Patient Speaks Out
Dominique Pringle hasn’t seen her husband since he was admitted to Christiana Hospital on March 21st.
His symptoms began with a cough, and then the 33-year old Derrick Pringle ended up on a ventilator.
Dominique is a nurse, and mother of 3, so they’ve been taking this seriously since the beginning.
“We have to take this seriously, or it’s going to get worse. People think like it can’t happen to them, like it can only happen to old people, and that’s just not the case at all.”
On a happier note, Derrick seems to be getting better, and after the close call, they’re hope is for his return home to be soon.
Until then, she had a message for him while he remains in his hospital room:
“I’m so proud of you. You have been so strong and calm during everything you went through.”
