What We Learned Today! 11/1
Everyday we like to reflect on what we learned during the Morning Show. Join us for more wisdom weekdays from 5:30-10 !
- We made it through Halloween! A quick note for kids next year, if you go trick or treating right before everyone turns off the lights, you will get more candy because they adults are trying to get rid of it!
- The bad weather waited for trick or treating festivities. There are several trees and wires down and a tornado possibly touched down in Delaware County late last night. Be careful!
- If you have some left over vacation time, there are deal zones you might want to take advantage of. If you book travel during the first half of November or right after thanksgiving through mid-December you will get the best deals. Don’t book through the airlines website, use a comparison site.
- An Australian Shepard named River dressed up as an ambulance for Halloween. He even did a great job imitating the siren.
- We set the clocks back this week. All though we gain an hour of sleep, we lose an hour of daylight. For some people it causes Seasonal Affective Disorder. If you experience this, you are not alone! A few things you can do to take care of yourself include: going outside for natural sunlight, eating a balanced diet, and using light therapy. Just remember, the sun always comes back out.
