What We Learned Today! 10/28
Everyday we like to reflect on what we learned during the Morning Show. Join us for more wisdom weekdays from 5:30-10 !
- Apparently smarties and dum dums aren’t good enough for the kids in Rancho Cucamongo. A facebook rant when viral when a parent demanded that neighbors give out king sized candies or a minimum of four to five fun-sized candies because the neighborhood is affluent.
- Disney is offering $1,000 and a one year Disney Plus subscription to five participants who will watch and critique 30 Disney movies in 30 days. They will even hook you up with watch kit that includes supplies such as cups, blankets, and a new Pixar popcorn machine.
- A new service called GoShare is coming to Delaware! It’s like uber for truck drivers and pairs truck drivers with people who need a truck and otherwise would have rented one. The best part is the app was created by a University of Delaware graduate.
- A man battling cancer was on his last day of chemo when he bought a scratch off lottery ticket. He won 5$ and bought two more tickets. This time, he scratched off a $200,000 winner! He plans to cover some medical bills and save for his cancer-free future!
- Traveling is a hassle and there are plenty of nightmare stories, especially Marcia’s. On the bright side, there are plenty of good stories out there as well, like the woman who drove Mary from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale after she missed her flight so she could say goodbye to her father.
