Gwen Stefani’s Next Album Will Be Country
It looks like Blake Shelton has been a big influence on his wife, Gwen Stefani musically. Gwen announced on her socials yesterday (9/18) that her next album will indeed be a country album. The album cover shows Gwen in a cowboy hat.
Stefani is no stranger to country music as she has her husband Blake has taken her to many award shows and she performed at the ACM awards recently. She also has three country number-one songs with duets with Shelton including “Happy Anywhere,” “Nobody But You” and their newest duet “Purple Irises.”
She shared the cover and wrote on Instagram to her almost 18 followers, “My fifth studio album, ‘Bouquet’, will be in full bloom on November 15th.
Gwen added, “Pre-order ‘Bouquet’ available NOW exclusively on my online store, including a limited edition sky blue vinyl. the first single, ‘Somebody Else’s,’ will be available everywhere starting at 9 pm PST / Friday at 12 am EST.”
Many fans reacted to the post. Some comments were negative, as her die-hard pop fans were not thrilled with the fact that she may be going country full-time, but most of the comments were excited and encouraging with fans who can’t wait for the album to come out. One fan wrote, “Crying myself to bed. So happy (heart emoji)I can’t even.” Another fan said, Can’t believe you’re doing a country album (heart emoji).” One more fan commented, “Yes!! Ready for this era! #purpleirises (heart emoji).”

Blake Shelton and Gwen were in Nashville recently where Blake joined Post Malone on stage at a small Nashville music venue to perform their duet “Pour Me A Drink.”
Gwen was in fan-girl mode as she posted several video clips on her Insta Stories from the side stage at the surprise performance, which brought the crowd on their feet and into a frenzy. She filmed as Blake walked on stage, clips from the duet performance, and one other song Shelton and Malone did together.
Stefani then filmed as Blake walked off the stage and back to her, shouting, “Whoa!” The couple enjoyed the show together backstage, and she wrote over one video of them together, “@postmalone—Fanning out.”
The one-night-only show in Nashville was for Malone to perform songs from his album, F-1 Trillion, to an intimate crowd.
At CMA Fest in June, Shelton and Post Malone surprised fans on the opening night of the festival by singing their not-yet-released duet, “Pour Me A Drink.”
