How Much Are Taylor Swift’s Legs Worth?
A very bizarre study that looks into how much celebrity body parts cost has unveiled some interesting and kind of horrifying information. Per The Hollywood Reporter, questions like, “How much are Taylor Swift’s legs worth?”, “What’s Gorgon Ramsay’s tongue worth?” and “How much is J-Lo’s butt worth?” actually have answers, as determined by insurance companies.
All these celebrity body parts reportedly have been insured for millions just in case something goes improbably yet horribly wrong. One famous father, Nick Cannon, who fathered 12 children in a short amount of time, has a policy of $10 million protecting his family jewels, so to speak.
“Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls,” Cannon declared in the Dr. Squatch promotional video. The policy is also a promotion of his line of ball-care products.
In 2010, Time magazine reported that Bruce Springsteen insured his voice for $6 million with Lloyd’s of London. Meanwhile, chef Gordon Ramsay recently reportedly insured his tongue for $10 million if his expert palate diminished. Then, there’s the widely-known insurance policy Dolly Parton took out on her breasts. With reported 40DD breast implants, Dolly took out a policy to cover herself if anything happened to them. Each breast is worth $300,000, making the total $600,000.

Now, for the heavy-hitters in top 40 music, artists like Mariah Carey previously took out two $35 million policies while touring in 2016: one for her famous voice, the other for her lengthy legs. Rihanna had a $1 million legs policy taken out by Gillette when they named her Celebrity Legs of a Goddess in 2007.
Another star who took out a policy on her legs was none other than Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis. The Halloween alum had a $1 million policy taken out for her legs when she appeared in campaigns for pantyhose brand L’eggs.
The highest-priced legs policy of all goes to Taylor Swift. The pop icon insured her legs for a whopping $40 million in 2015 ahead of her 1989 tour. Swift hasn’t confirmed or denied it, but the 5’10” singer-songwriter addressed the headline while tweeting a photo in 2015 of her scratched leg and referencing one of her cats. “Great work Meredith. I was just trying to love you and now you owe me 40 million dollars.”
