Avelo Airlines Flights From Wilmington Return To 7 Popular Destinations This Summer
Well, this is great news as we enter the summer time months. Avelo Airlines flights from Wilmington will be returning to some destinations that were suspended during the winter months.
Avelo Airlines Flights From Wilmington Return
Residents of Delaware and our neighboring states can look forward to seven destinations coming to Wilmington for the summer of 2024. These flights are available to book now. This is such an amazing option for quick and easy travel, without the hustle and bustle that exists at the Philadelphia International Airport.
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Fort Myers, Florida
- Tampa, Florida
- Orlando, Florida
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- San Juan, Puerto Rico
- Wilmington, North Carolina
We’ve heard that Sarasota and West Palm Beach flights will also make a return in November.
There are a few popular destinations that might be done for good though – Savannah, Nashville and Daytona Beach.
Avelo Communications Director Courtney Goff had this to say. “They’re not canceled indefinitely. But we are waiting to get a little bit stronger of a sense, utilizing the routes that are really working for Wilmington and for Avelo, and capitalizing on those so that we can continue to gain that awareness and reach not only in Delaware but in the surrounding cities and states.”
I haven’t taken a trip on Avelo yet, but from what I’ve heard it’s a pretty great all around experience. Flight fares are less expensive than larger airports in bigger cities, delays aren’t as frequent and the times and days offered are in line with summer planning. And I hear the staff is friendly and welcoming.
All things that you cannot find at PHL. Ugh, the waits in Philly are the worst, even for a cup of coffee.
