The Winter Festivities in Milford kick off with Santa’s Arrival on Shop Small Saturday on November 25th.
Join in on the festivities with Downtown Milford merchants and restaurants open all day on Shop Small Saturday.
The Golden Ticket Passport to Small Businesses
Available at participating businesses the week of November 25th through December 2nd so you can get your passports stamped for the Holiday Stroll give-away on December 3rd from 3-8PM. The Golden Ticket Passport helps introduce area residents to Milford’s unique downtown businesses and restaurants via a map. Participants follow the instructions on the passport and bring your stamped passports to the Downtown Milford, Inc. table at the Holiday Stroll on December 3rd to receive an ornament (while supplies last) and be entered into a drawing.
- 10:00AM The Elf Parade will gather at Bridging the Gap Thrift Store where Elves will parade along the Riverwalk to the Riverfront Theater to welcome Santa Claus to Milford, DE. Register to be part of the Elf Parade here and be entered in a drawing.
- 10:30am Holiday Music starts with the Milford Community Band
- 11:00 am Santa Claus arrives assisted by the Carlisle Fire Company via an antique fire truck! Santa will be available for visits at the Santa House at 1 North Walnut Street, Milford. Santa will be available for visits with your children that Saturday from 11AM – 2PM. Santa will continue to be available for visits throughout the holiday season on Sundays 11AM – 2PM and Fridays & Saturdays from 5 – 8PM until December 23rd when he must depart to prepare for his world-wide sleigh ride.

Holiday Stroll & Christmas Market
On Saturday December 2nd the Winter Festivities in Milford continue with the Holiday Stroll & Christmas Market from 3PM – 8PM. Lot’s of entertainment, food, fun & activities are planned along Walnut Street and surrounding areas. Look forward to a live Nativity, Strolling Choirs, Gymnastic Tumblers, Irish Dancers & a Leprechaun, Ornament Crafts, S’mores Fire Pit, Hot Cocoa Stations, Raffles, and of course Elves mingling with the community. You will find the Christmas Market along the Riverwalk has exceptional artisan gifts and more!
Winter Festivities In 2024
Look forward to more fun indoors during January and February in Downtown Milford. Jammin’ January is coming with live music, games & activities. Foodie February will follow with restaurants offering new entrees, drinks, samples and businesses offering refreshments. Schedule of events to be announced soon!
