The Merengue House Bar & Restaurant In Wilmington Opens New Nightclub
Wilmington is getting a new night club on the West Side, at the newly renovated upstairs bar and lounge of Merengue House Bar & Restaurant.
Merengue House Bar & Restaurant is not new to the area. The restaurant has been serving delicious Dominican cuisine and drinks for years. Now they’ve expanded in an effort to enhance the West Side as an night time destination.
The owner of Merengue House Bar & Restaurant, Yosmaira Ramos expresses her joy about the opening;
“When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. And when life is bitter, say thank you and grow.”
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at Merengue House Bar & Restaurant on August 3rd at 11pm. The restaurant is located at 837 N Union St, Wilmington, DE 19805. In attendance at this event will be Mayor Purzycki, 7th District Councilman Johnson, and Council President Ernest “Trippi” Congo, II.
This expansion is part of the continued work in the West Side community. According to a press release, West Side Grows Together is a coalition of residents, businesses, churches, and local leadership in the West Side of Wilmington, working together to transform & strengthen the community.
