Pennsylvania Lodge Named One Of The Best All-Inclusive Resorts In America

You don’t need an island anymore as a Pennsylvania Lodge has been named a top all-inclusive resort in America.

A short drive to Pennsylvania could be in the cards for people who want to get away without getting too far away.

No need for a flight or the stresses of flying for an all-inclusive? Count me in Pennsylvania!

Travel and Leisure ranked their 16 Best All-inclusive Resorts in the USA, and a Pennsylvania lodge came in at #5!

The Skytop Lodge in the Poconos is the place to be apparently.

“Sprawled across 5,500 acres, this historic mountain resort has been luring guests high into the Poconos since 1928. Book a room in the grand stone lodge or at the inn that opens right onto the championship golf course. As for all-inclusive plans, Skytop Lodge offers a Modified American Plan for the whole family, which includes breakfast and dinner at the lodge’s eateries” according to Travel and Leisure.

Skytop Lodge is about 100 miles from Wilmington and a little over 2 hours away from Philly.

So what does one of the best all-inclusives in the country have for you to do? There is falconry, golf, a beach, a treetop adventure course, boating, arrow tag, and paintballing!

There is a lakeview restaurants and a coffee shop on site alongside 5 other eatieries.

It also includes overnight accommodations and a daily breakfast!

When you think summer vacation, you might think Disney, a cruise or somewhere else tropical.  But, you may want something a little more quaint and away from all the hustle and bustle of day to day life.

Look no further than this list put out by Travel + Leisure, of The 15 Best U.S. Small Towns for a Summer Vacation.  How cool to see Delaware’s own Dewey Beach included on this national list.  We know what a gem it is down at the Delaware beaches, but we don’t get a lot of national recognition for just how beautiful Delaware is.  It’s honestly surprising to not see Lewes make the list.  Maybe next year.
