Roja & Verde Taqueria Opening In Newark

Roja & Verde Taqueria will be opening in Newark this fall giving Delawareans another option for fresh Mexican Food.

The planned restaurant will open next to Drip Coffee in Newark. Drip is located at 60 N College Ave, Newark, DE 19711.

I had a little sample of the new Roja & Verde Taqueria at the Delaware Today “Best of Delaware” party last week and really enjoyed what they were dishing out.

If their menu is anything like their samples, Newark is really in for a treat!

The new taqueria will be opened by Greg ewho owns two Delaware Drip Coffee locations according to Townsquare Live.

“Vogeley named the newcomer for red and green salsas, all made from scratch. He will also feature freshly pressed flour and corn tortillas, two kinds of tamales and taquitos. Customers will be able to order individual items or make a platter with refried black beans and rice. There are no plans to sell alcohol” according to Delaware Live.

I tried to get my hands on their online menu, but their website is teasing our taste buds with a “coming soon” sign and pictures of some mouth watering shrimp tacos and vibrant salsa.

Roja & Verde Taqueria isn’t the only new restaurant first state and Newark residents are waiting for.

Keem’s Cuisine is now open at 409 S Walnut St, Wilmington, DE, 19801 and is taking reservations at 302-510-4946.

A Tik Tok review of Keem’s Cuisine, a new soul food restaurant in Wilmington, provided a preview of what customers can expect on their drink menu!

A Henny Mule, an Old Fashioned, a Cucumber Refresher, a Keem’s Cosmo, and something called the Grapefruit Rose Lemon Drop are all featured drinks.

The same Tik Tok shows a massive bar and dining are great for large groups and plenty of televisions.

  The rolls are nicely crafted and so delicious! They’re all so fresh! I got a side salad which was only $3 and the dressing that came with it was so good!

  My favorite lunch here is the general Tso with wonton/egg drop soup. Super affordable, delicious, and doesn’t give the greasy feeling

  I’m not going to lie. Bally’s really hitting for something! They have that authentic Chinese food/look/feel . Compared to the other Chinese stores I tried in Wilmington this one is the one.

  We have never been disappointed here when we have a hankering for American Chinese food. Their Singapore noodles (Chow Mi Fun) are amazing and my favourite thing on the menu.

  This is one of my go to places. The roti and curry sauce are a particular favorite, but I haven’t found anything I don’t like. Dine in is comfortable and service is pleasant and not rushed. Take out is quick.

  Great place! The food is delicious, especially the sushi! The ambience is wonderful. We enjoyed the customer service. The menu has enough choices for anyone. It is well worth checking out.
