We started with a list of the most popular first dance songs from Brides.com, then narrowed down search interest for each of these songs over the past 12 months to evaluate which song each state has been searching for the most” according to Shane Co.

Pennsylvania’s most popular first dance song at their weddings is Niall Horan’s “Black and White” and New Jersey’s is Faith Hill’s “This Kiss.”

Delaware’s most popular also happens to be the most popular in the United States.

“You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers, and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri all tied for the most popular first dance song overall (each capturing the top spot in three U.S. states) ” according to Shane Co.

The Righteous Brothers hit is one of those timeless classics. I fell like everybody at least knows one line from the song.
