15 Of Delaware’s Future Health Professionals Win National Awards In Dallas

Last week, over 150 students and advisors from across Delaware attended the 46th annual HOSA-Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference in Dallas.  They were joined by over 12,000 other members from across the country.

These incredible students, representing Delaware, participated in competitive events that included: Medical Math, Public Health, Behavioral Health, Community Awareness, and more.

Delaware HOSA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) dedicated to students who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Through this program, the members have the opportunity to participate in career focused competitive events, take part in community service work, and become leaders for the organization in their school, state, and at the international level.

In addition, HOSA-Future Health Professionals incorporates curricular and co-curricular experiences to emphasize the importance of knowledge, leadership, skill development, and teamwork.

These Are The 25 Best Public Schools In Delaware For 2023

In this country, under our current climate, education is at the forefront of importance and debate.  Parents are concerned now more than ever about student curriculum.  There is the ever growing concern with safety, as we see the number of school shootings and threats at a high.  As a parent myself, I know that choosing a school for your child is a daunting task, and not always a choice.

More and more families are choosing alternative options to public schools.  Some are sending their children to private schools or opting for online education.  However, this is not an option for all families with the rising costs and of course working parents who may not be home to assist in the online options.  Some families are even choosing to move to where to better schools are.

The folks over at Niche.com have released their list of the 2023 Best Public Schools in Delaware.

Data from the U.S. Department of Education is used to analyze key statistics and millions of student and parent reviews. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, and SAT/ACT scores.
