Chinese food has a place in everyone heart and stomach.

I love grabbing some takeout, sitting on the couch, and watching movies all night long.

I truly believe that Won Ton Soup is a cure-all for any type of ailment.

I recently discovered a few more traditional Chinese restaurants serving authentic dishes, and I am now mad at myself for never trying it before!

No matter the occasion, a great Chinese restaurant can make you day better.

East Coast Traveler released it’s list of the 5 Must-Try Chinese Restaurants in Delaware.

Restaurants from Hockessin, Newark, Wilmington, and Bear made the list.

East Coast Traveler picked Crownery Chinese Restaurant in Hockessin DE as one their “must trys.

“In Hockessin, DE, Crownery Chinese Restaurant serves traditional and contemporary Asian cuisine.  The menu includes Peking duck, egg rolls, and General Tao chicken. Authentic Chinese food relies on abundant leafy vegetables, fresh seafood, and poultry. The Crownery in Hockessin specializes in authentic Chinese cuisine with hearty, fresh vegetables and protein. It’s a far cry from the American-style Chinese dishes you’ll find in a mall food court.” (East Coast Traveler)

You can find Crownery Chinese Restaurant at 228 Lantana Dr, Hockessin, DE 19707.

Hong Hing Chinese Restaurant in Wilmington, Hyan Hot Pot in Newark, Yi Place in Wilmington, and Mom’s Kitchen in Bear also made the must try list.

With all these amazing Chinese restaurants in Delaware, Chinese cuisine must be the state’s favorite right?

Not so fast!

The people at WiseVoter compiled every state’s favorite cuisine and Delaware’s favorite was Chinese.

Chinese cuisine took the top spot followed by Italian, Mexican, Thai, and Indian.

So why is it so popular?

So why is Chinese Cuisine so popular?! “The best part about Asian-Chinese food is that you don’t have to walk or drive around for hours to find Chinese food in any city you’re in because most cities have restaurants or stalls selling famous the cuisine on every corner,” according to Yummy House.

We all love food. And in Delaware, food is serious business. Did you know that there are over 2.000 restaurants in the First State? But we’re looking for the Best Restaurant In Every City In Delaware. No matter where you are in the state.

To be one of the most popular restaurants in any town within the state is a big deal. There’s clearly a lot of competition. It’s hard for me to pick my favorite because of all the different types of cuisine. I may be able to pick out my favorite Mexican, Japanese, Italian, but to choose an overall favorite is tough!

If you ever wondered if your personal favorite is the most popular in town, now you’ll have the answer. There are over 70 towns in Delaware to choose from.  I used Yelp to find the highest rated restaurant in each city/town. So EVERY city and town in Delaware may be a slight exaggeration, but some of the small towns don’t even have restaurants.

I hope you’re not hungry!  If you are, you’ll be running out for a bite after drooling over this list of restaurants you’ll want to try.
