This morning at 4am I was doing my normal half asleep drive into work when I noticed a new billboard.
I am a proponent of billboards, they are effective and I love clever ones.
But this new billboard really caught my eye. Mostly, because it involved a top-notch food in burgers.
The billboard said opening soon and a logo with the words ‘Circus Burger’ in the middle.
The logo featured a warped orange rectangle and a circus tent above the words ‘Circus Burger.’
It actually took some internet sleuthing to find out what this new burger spot is.
After a few Google searches I concluded that Chick-Fil-A had something to do with this mystery meat spot.
The Chick-Fil-A cows are launching a “Code Moo” against their nemesis Circus Burger.
According to the Chick-Fil-A website “Bad news for the Cows: Circus Burger is launching a nationwide expansion. That means burgers in the cities, burgers on the beaches, burgers in national parks, burgers everywhere you look! But the Cows have a few tricks up their sleeves, even though they don’t wear sleeves.”
Chick-Fil-A is telling us to be ready on June 21st for some fun with Circus Burger. “Code Moo” will be released next week to people who are registered for a Chick-Fil-A One account.
By joining Chick-fil-A One, you’ll also get reward points when you make qualifying purchases all year, plus you’ll be one of the first to know about other events, Cow-related and otherwise.
More info on “Code Moo” can be found here.
Circus Burger has appeared in Chick-Fil-A advertising before but this looks like the fictional franchise may actually have tangible locations.
The beef patty rival of of the chicken mecca has been appearing in their advertising as early as 2000.
