UDel Recycle Program Helping Newark Residents Dispose Of Unwanted Items

If you have been doing spring cleaning and are looking for ways to get rid of larger items, then this UDel Recycle Program is for you. UDel Is Hosting A Recycle Program This Weekend Called UDon’t Need It.

The UDel Recycle program started last Saturday May 20th and is running through June 3rd.

On the grounds of the UD Star Campus at South College Avenue, anyone who owns or rents in Newark can bring their junk!

Students must present a valid ID card and landlords must present proof of ownership.

Everyone else will be required to pay $10, but hey it’s a small price to pay to get rid of those items you’ve had stored in the basement for years.

You can empty a pick-up truck or carload for the $10 fee. Larger trucks or trailers will be required to pay $20.

Visit WWW.NEWARKDE.GOV/UDNI for details on what items will be accepted.

The UDel Recycle Program  will be held:

Friday May 26 from 9am-6pm

Saturday CLOSED

Sunday May 28 from 9am-6pm

Monday (Memorial Day) CLOSED

Tuesday May 30 through Saturday June 3 from 9am-6pm

This is a great way to help continue the city’s efforts to minimize the amount of reusable items that end up in the landfill.

Drop off your unwanted items at the STAR Campus this weekend or next week.
