Fresh Rolled Costco Sushi Could Be On Its Way To Delaware
The single greatest store of all time…could be getting better!
According to a Costco Reddit thread the Kirkland Sushi might not be far away!
A sign above what looks like pies reads “Please excuse our dust. Kirkland Signature Sushi coming soon.”
Check out the picture for yourself here.
Looking at the picture there is a LARGE barren area covered by a sheet so I am assuming this means a SUSHI BAR!
Mashed reported that this particular sign has been seen at a few Costco locations.
“Costco has sold premade sushi before, to mixed results. The quality of the sushi that the store previously offered has come under fire from some consumers in social media posts. By switching to a fresh sushi bar and preparing rolls, sashimi, and the like under the store’s beloved Kirkland Signature brand, Costco might be able to steal the sushi crown from Sam’s Club, which has sushi chefs rolling fresh sushi in-store each day and generally gets rave reviews from consumers” Mashed reported.
So this news means the sushi would be fresh rolled in store instead of coming from a third party.
As for rumors of which Costcos will get the sushi first, all people have heard is rumors.
One Redditor said “There’s rumors the Midwest will be getting it soon, too. I overheard our meat dept. manager talking about it recently as his dept. would be the one to have to take in more fish to hold for the deli. This is in Cleveland, Ohio but he said that corporate wants to have it in all of their Midwest stores.”
