Bellevue State Park Summer Concerts Will Feature Deanna’s Uncle

As summer rolls around, it’s easy to get caught up in the day dream of beach days and warm summer nights.

With tons of options in our beach towns, it leaves you wondering if there is anything local going on to occupy yourself and your family.

The Bellevue State Park is offering a FREE Summer Concert series to locals. Every Thursday and Sunday you will be able to take the family to a night out for some great music and family fun.

All concerts will begin at either 6 or 6:30pm, making it a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather and the sunset.

Various musical acts are scheduled to perform including an Eric Clapton Tribute, the popular cover band Big House and a very special guest and personal friend of our morning show.

Deanna’s uncle is a performer very well known in the Rehoboth area. John Flynn is scheduled to perform at the Bellevue State Park Concert Series on Thursday June 15th.

If you’re a fan of a wide variety of music from standards to swingin’ hits, you won’t want to miss this. Flynn has been seen performing in venues like The Top of The Pines, Tavern On Camac,  and Café Azafrán Rehoboth  just to name a few.

With decades of experience, he’s sure to delight. He may even throw in a joke or two, the sense of humor that runs in the family is unmistakable.

The 1.6 mile stretch through Fenwick Island presents several different places for you to stop in for your tequila fix.

If you’re a fan of the spirit, this Margarita Marathon is a great way to visit several different spots on the coast.

Who doesn’t love a nice, cold drink on a hot summer day?

Papa Grandes has a deck where you can sit outside and enjoy some tacos and tequila to kick it off.

Across the street is Harpoon Hanna’s that boasts a beautiful view on their dock where you can enjoy stiff margs and stuffed tacos.

Fenwick’s Crabhouse offers all-you-can-eat crab legs to go with their delicious drinks.

Matteo’s staff is well-known and you can go see why for yourself.  They also have some pretty delicious nachos on their menu to share with your group after a day of imbibing.

offered up their take on who has the best margaritas in Delaware. You can find a list of their local favorites and beachside bests. They included Papa Grandes on their choices on places to visit on the coastline. Dos Locos,  Big Chill Surf Cantina and Taco Reho ,and Agave were also on the list.
