So how did BonusFinder conduct their rankings?
They took factors like Music Events, Bars, Nightclubs, Late Night Food Venues, Hotels, Casinos, Stripclubs, the Average Price of a Drink, the Average Price of a Hotel Room, the Average Taxi Cost from the Airport to the City Center, and the Last Call at the Bar time and gave each category a score out of 10.
These scores were averaged and ranked…and Wilmington came out as 19th overall!

- 5.13/10 for Bars
- 5.16/10 Nightclubs
- 6.61/10 Late Night Food Venues
- 7.26/10 Hotels

Wilmington received an average score of 7.17 overall. In comparison Miami was ranked as the top party city in America with a score of a perfect 10!
Philadelphia was ranked 86th overall with a score of 6.41.
BonusFinder said “We tend to think that the best parties are held in the biggest cities in the world. However, when comparing 101 US cities in 11 different categories, ranging from the number of nightclubs and casinos to the average price for a night in a hotel, our research found that this is not always the case.”
They also reported that the cheapest drinks in America are in Baton Rouge, LA where an average drink will run you $2.99. Hoboken, NJ has the most late night food spots with 579 per 10,000 people.
