If you’re a Delawarean, you obviously know of the sentiment behind black state license plates and low numbers…wealth. The lower the Delaware license plate, the wealthier you seem to appear. The lower the number on the plate, the more expensive the plate is. Black license plates are also considered luxury.
As a matter of fact, you’ll sometimes see “low number license plates” in auctions at Delaware events and fundraisers to attract more people. A single digit plate in Delaware is offered over $500,000 if you can find one available. A two digit black license plate in Delaware is valued anywhere from $100,000 to $400,000. A three digit plate is anywhere from $25,000 to $95,000.
As Reddit pointed out, in Dubai, turns out the wealthy also show off their status with their license plates. The lower the number plate in Dubai, the wealthier you seem to appear. Two digit license plates in Dubai have been reported to be worth over $1.2 million. Some have even sold for more than $5 million.
The investment of a license plate in Dubai is said to be a far better investment than actual gold. The number 2 license plate in Dubai sold for $6.3 million at an auction.

San Diego as well as Santa Barbara are home to some of the most exquisite seafood restaurants and markets we know. It’s home to so many different species and all of them are caught fresh and prepared daily.
