The famous Philly food spot is looking to grow as Love & Honey fried chicken plans to expand into Delaware.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that the owners plan on having as many as 6 new locations including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Laura and Todd Lyons applied their culinary skills and techniques to create a southern-style fried chicken concept that was more than fast-food back in 2017, and during the pandemic decided it was time to expand.
The Front Street restaurant has had TONS of praise over the years.
The Today Show called their fried chicken some the best in America.
“It’s brined for 8 hours before being fried in small batches. They also buy their chicken from farms that don’t use steroids or antibiotics. Customers are willing to wait upwards of 40 minutes for this chicken which is “dredged” in buttermilk, seasoned and then fried in canola and corn oil blend. It’s finished with a touch of honey, hence the name” The Today Show said about Love & Honey’s chicken.
The Food Network has also sung the praises of the chicken joint highlighting the way they finish off each piece of chicken with honey to add a sweet-meets-salty element to the dish.
