Looking for something festive and fun to do right here in Delaware?  Have you seen The Sleigh Bar at Klondike Kate’s in Newark?  This looks like a super fun option to get out during the holidays with your girls, or on a date night, for a drink or two!

According to their website, The Sleigh Bar is open now thru the New Year.  The decorations are over the top tacky and couldn’t be more perfect!

During this limited time opening, they’re offering fun themed cocktails and food.  I’m personally interested in trying the Mrs. Claus Martini and Feliz Navidad.  And there’s no way I can pass up the Atomic Yule Logs!  My mouth is watering.

I came across this video on TikTok by @FirstStateDestinations.  So put on your ugly Christmas sweater and make a night out of it.  Looking at their Instagram, it looks like they have the perfect spot for taking a holiday selfie!

Personally, I enjoy being in the kitchen with family cooking up traditional recipes during the holidays.  I enjoy baking cookies, making my corn casserole and supplying the appetizers for our family.  But, that’s me.  Not everyone likes to spend their time at home, much less behind the stove.  It does take a toll after being on your feet all day for a meal that really only ends up lasting about 15 minutes or so.

Or maybe you do enjoy cooking, but your Christmas Eve plans call for take out or going out to dinner.  If you’re one of those people looking for a place to grab a bite to eat on Christmas Eve, look no further.
