In an interview with Variety, the Rocket Man's manager and husband, David Furnish, said, “He would love to work more with her, and actually work in person with her, because she was in L.A. and he was in London and it was recorded that way," he said of their hit collaboration, "Hold Me Closer."
"It was actually my idea because we were talking about people to collaborate with. We talked and said, ‘Wouldn’t this be great to let Britney take a baby step to get her foot[ing] back, and if she wants to continue to go forward, that’s her decision to make.’ She can pick up the phone and speak to Elton about it at any time.”
The duo's “Hold Me Closer” dropped on August 25. The song is a reimagined take on Elton's “Tiny Dancer.” The single marked Spears’ first music release in six years since her Glory album.
Britney isn't only wanted in the music world, but on television, too. Per E! News, Simon Cowell is itching to work with Britney Spears as a fellow judge again on The X Factor, 10 years later. "We spent so long on the phone talking about X Factor before we did it," Cowell said. He added, "There's a side of Britney a lot of people don't know. I mean, I was on the phone to her two or three hours every time. She was super smart, lovely ideas about how to launch someone else's career, which is critical if you're going to be a judge on one of these shows. So I had a fantastic relationship with her."
"If you're watching Britney and we make a show, please come back and do it with me," Simon added. "It would be amazing. I adore her. She really is interesting," he gushed, "and she's so talented."

1. Toxic

The #1 slot goes to "Toxic," the song that brings out the bad girl in everyone. On a personal note, I remember watching the music video as a young child and feeling the need to change the channel when my parents walked in because it was SO risqué! Delighted to say it is a song that has transcended time and is played to this day.
