.Olivia Wilde is “ad-dressing” her infamous “special salad dressing” recipe that she and ex-Jason Sudeikis’ former nanny alleged she made for Harry Styles. Just a few days after the nanny of three years dished on the alleged toxic environment she endured prior to Wilde and Sudeikis’ relationship ending, the Don’t Worry Darling director seemingly responded via Instagram Stories.
She shared a photo Tuesday (October 18) of an excerpt from Nora Ephron’s 1983 novel, Heartburn. The pic was of the passage which included the description of a character making a homemade salad dressing. “I taught Mark how to make the vinaigrette,” the excerpt read. “Mix 2 tablespoons Grey Poupon mustard with 2 tablespoons good wine red vinegar. Then, whisking constantly with a fork, slowly add 6 tablespoons olive oil, until the vinaigrette is thick and creamy; this makes a very strong vinaigrette that’s perfect for salad greens like arugula and watercress and endive.”
Per E! News, the parents of son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 4 issued a joint statement on Monday denying the nanny’s claims. They said it was “incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.”
As we earlier reported, the nanny recalled that on November 15 of 2020, Wilde infuriated Sudeikis by preparing a salad for Styles with her “special dressing” in the family kitchen. The nanny claimed, “The night she left with her salad, Jason had chased after her, videotaping her in the house. She was saying: ‘I’m scared of you, Jason. I’m scared of you.’ And he said: ‘If you’re scared of me, why are you leaving your kids with me?’ So then, Jason went outside and lay under her car so she wouldn’t leave. She got in her car to back up, he lay under her car so she wouldn’t leave. She went back into the house and he went in, it was back and forth. He said he was doing it on purpose to make her late going to see Harry.”
The nanny added, “Jason told me ‘She made this salad and she made her special dressing and she’s leaving with her salad to have dinner with [Harry].’ I said, ‘What salad dressing?’ He said, ‘She has a special salad dressing she makes for us. She’s taken it to have it with him now.’ I don’t know what was in it. Out of everything, he was like, ‘She made her special salad dressing and took it to him.”
