Rosenfeld’s Deli has Closed their Wilmington Location
Known for delicious pastrami and sandwiches it appears that Rosenfeld’s Deli has closed their Wilmington location.
According to Delaware Business Now the delicatessen has decided to close their Washington Street location and shift focus to their North Wilmington location located on Marsh Road.
The closure went into effect at the end of business on August 7th 2022.
In a social media post on their Facebook page Rosenfeld’s says it will shift its operations and office catering to the North Wilmington location.
The post reads “Our Rosenfeld’s downtown Wilmington location will be permanently closing tomorrow (Sunday) after the close of business. With our Marsh Road store now open for 3 months, it just makes more sense to run all of our business through that location, including all downtown office catering. If you haven’t been to the Marsh Road location, come see us! It’s beautiful and big, almost 5,000 square feet. We hope to feed you there soon. Goodbye downtown Wilmington . . . we’ll miss you . ”
The post also encourages patrons to visit the Marsh Road location which they describe as an expansive store located at the Plaza III Shopping Center. They will also have the same menu as the Washington Street store with more added options. Rosenfeld’s also says Downtown Wilmington deliveries can be ordered through Door Dash.
Rosenfeld’s recently expanded teaming with Big Fish Restaurant Group according to Delaware Business Now.
The expansion has lead to a new locations in the Lewes-Rehoboth area.
Hours for the North Wilmington location are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check it out at 1843 Marsh Road North Wilmington, DE 19810.
