Longwood Gardens Temporarily Closed Until Aug. 4 After Tanker Truck Crashes Into Visitor’s Center
Longwood Gardens is temporarily closed due to an accident that occurred this past Thursday afternoon, involving a runaway tanker truck that crashed into the Visitor’s Center. Some people were injured, including two staff members, but only minorly, according to the public information at Chester County Department of Emergency Services. The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital for further evalutaion.
The Gardens will remain temporarily closed until Aug. 4, as repairs are made to the building where the truck crashed.
