Poll: Do You Judge Fellow Shoppers For What’s In Their Cart?
According to SWNSdigital.com, Americans are paying extra for their personal hygiene products. Their reason probably has to do with the responses from this poll, which surveyed 2,000 US adults. Depend found that 67% of Americans judge fellow shoppers on what they have in their carts. Which is exactly why 89% said there are certain product they’d rather buy online and just pay the extra shipping.
51% of people polled also said the items they generally felt embarrassed to purchase included period cups, laxatives, or other products such as adult underwear. 75% of the participants said when buying these products they will also make other random purchases to avoid judgement from the cashier.
On the bright side, 70% believe these products are easier to buy and have conversation about than they were in the past.
