The Ronnie Williams Foundation is set to host the Delaware Lights and Sirens Bash this upcoming Saturday, July 24 at the Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark, Delaware from 6-10 P.M. The foundation was created to honor the memory and legacy of former Delaware State Trooper Ronald G. Williams Jr. who passed away in 2002. The organization’s goal is to help aspiring young people achieve their dream of becoming a police officer.
The proceeds are expected to benefit local law enforcement charities, including both state and local Fraternal Order of Police lodges, the Ronnie Williams Foundation, the Delaware Hero Fund, Delaware Crimestoppers and Friends of the Mounted Patrol New Castle County. The purchase of a ticket includes an all-you-can-eat buffet. The event will also have many ways to win prizes, including silent auctions and raffles. A link to purchase tickets for this Saturday’s bash can be found here.
This event is one of many put on by the Ronnie Williams Foundation. The foundation is expected to hold the Fall Sirens & Shields 5K Challenge and Fall Fest on Oct. 24 to close out its currently scheduled 2021 events.
