Delaware’s Upcoming Shakespeare Festival at Rockwood Park

Looking for some theater entertainment while relaxing in the park? This summer there are 3 entertaining events planned at Rockwood Park. Delaware’s Upcoming Shakespeare Festival is the perfect opportunity to enjoy socially distanced performances while having a nice picnic!
The lineup includes:
“Midsummer Mix Tape”: July 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, & August 1
Performing original music, join the arrangement of songs plus scenes from past and future productions.
“Rosalind X 3”: July 22 & 29
With different actor and director pairings, this program dives into looking at the lead from As You Like It with different cultural lenses.
“Shakespeare Poetry Slam”: July 23 & 30
Hip-hop and spoken word artists inspired by Shakespeare will perform.
