When Edith Grey made this discovery, she immediately posed a video to TikTok to share what she had learned. She never expected that the video would receive 1.4 million likes and 10 million views. Edith starts the video by stating that she saw other TikTok users cleaning their washing machine filters. Upon farther research she found that the filter is supposed to be cleaned every month.
She says in the video that her boyfriend has lived in their house for 8 years and neither of them have ever cleaned their washing machine filter. When she finally removed the filter she said it smelled horrible! Clearly from the response the video has received, a lot of us should also check our own.
