If your cat likes to wait for you outside of the bathroom, here might be the reason why! According to Yahoo.com, veterinarian Dwight Alleyne thinks it could have something to do with their personality.
If your cat is affectionate, chances are they want to be with you wherever you go. It could very well be that simple. If your cat is more territorial however, they could be feeling left out once you close the bathroom door. They might just want to explore the area that you just cut them off from. Finally, Alleyne suggests that your cat could simply be waiting outside the bathroom because they want your attention. It could then mean they are hungry or just wanting you to notice them.
