Billie Eilish’s Ex Speaks Out After Documentary Release
Billie Eilish’s ex Brandon “Q” Adams broke his silence about their breakup, after their well-hidden relationship was revealed in her new documentary, AppleTV’s The World’s a Little Blurry.
Adams, who goes by 7:AMP, has received criticism over his dismissive behavior toward 19-year-old Eilish during their romance. Eilish has largely kept her private life, well, private. Her dating life even more-so.
“There’s always 2 sides to a situation,” 24-year-old Adams wrote on his Instagram Story of his split with Eilish, Daily Mail reports.
Per the Daily Mail, Adams’ Instagram story says, “People fail to realize I’ve been dealing with my brother’s death. Especially around that time when it was fresh. Sometimes you have to be alone to cope. Sometimes people disagree and don’t want the same things as one another. It’s on you to understand there’s several points of view to a situation. Anyone who knows me knows where my heart is. I stay with a smile on my face even when I’m hurting. We push through the pain. [No love is ever lost.] But I refuse to be bashed.”
Eilish fans got a raw look into her personal life and the creative process behind her 2019 debut studio album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? in The World’s A Little Blurry, which AppleTV released last week.
In the beginning of the doc, Eilish can be heard telling “Q” that she loves him over the phone, but as it gets close to the end, Eilish breaks it off with him before she hit the stage at Pier 17 in New York City. The “Bad Guy” singer said in the documentary, “I just wasn’t happy. I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair for him.”
