Janet Jackson’s career is finally getting the movie treatment. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of her first album, a Janet Jackson documentary about her life is coming to Lifetime and A&E.
Per Variety, JANET will be a two-night, four-hour documentary that “promises to offer unprecedented access to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s life, and an intimate, honest and unfiltered look at the untold story of one of the highest-earning artists in music history.”
Filming for JANET has been ongoing for the last three years and will cover big moments, including the 2018 death of her father, Joe Jackson.
