Kathryn Hahn is absolutely baffled by the success of the minute-long song, “Agatha All Along,” that she sang on the seventh episode of WandaVision, “Breaking the Fourth Wall.” The video has gotten almost a million views on YouTube and has also inspired a couple of tributes and remixes.
In an interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers Hahn says, “I don’t understand it. I know – it’s amazing, it’s so crazy, Seth! What is happening.” She noted that she doesn’t have social media, so she wasn’t aware of this phenomenon right away.
WandaVision director Matt Shakman said in an Entertainment Weekly interview, “It’s wonderful to see that it’s inspired so much interest in the fans. We share the various memes and stuff on TikTok among the cast and crew and writers. It’s so wonderful that we made this thing with so much love and passion, and it has been received with so much love and passion by the fans.”
“Breaking the Fourth Wall” revealed that — spoiler alert — Wanda’s prying neighbor, Agnes was actually the powerful witch from the Marvel comics, Agatha Harkness all along.
The final episode of Wandavision debuts on Disney+ on this Friday, March 5th.
