Wendy’s really wants you to like their new chicken sandwich! They also know there’s no better way to get people to try your new product than offering it for free! Which is why Wendy’s will give you a free “Classic Chicken Sandwich” with the purchase of anything else on the menu through their mobile app.
The sandwich comes a white meat chicken filet and topped with mayo, tomato, lettuce, and pickles. It will cost $4.99 once this special offer has ended. It is safe to say the chicken sandwich was made in an effort to compete with their rivals Popeye’s after their chicken sandwich caught everyone’s attention last year. However, according to thrillist.com, Wendy’s have taken their chicken sandwich to the next level by also now offering a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a Pretzel Bacon Pub Chicken Sandwich.
