Billie Eilish Is Releasing A T-Shirt Line With Takashi Murakami
Billie Eilish is teaming up with Takashi Murakami, the contemporary artist and director, for a new t-shirt line. According to Rolling Stone, the Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami collection features six styles of shirts for men, women, and children. “The graphic tees rework iconography from Eilish’s debut album and ‘Blohsh’ merch, while incorporating Japanese illustrator Murakami’s iconic, manga-style flowers.”
They also add that the slouchy and streetwear-inspired clothing will have “other designs include a collage of Eilish’s photos, sketches taken from her music videos, and a UT-original Billie Eilish logo.”
Murakami has worked with many artists in the past, including Kayne West, Pharrell, and J Balvin. Murakami has also previously worked with Billie before for her “You Should See Me in a Crown” music video.
