Why Billie Eilish Doesn’t Mind Self-Quarantine: ‘I Like Being Alone’
A lot of celebrities on social media are making it known that they are bored and struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. Billie Eilish, on the other hand, is doing just fine.
Per Buzzfeed, in a recent interview, Billie explained that she is thriving and enjoying time alone. She also hasn’t taken part in any many video calls with friends. “If I’m being honest, I haven’t wanted to. It sounds so introverted and lonerish, but I’ve been really enjoying being alone.”
She goes into more detail, saying, “It’s been nice. I feel like everybody on the internet has been talking about [how] they’ve been on FaceTime all day long with their friends, and I kind of have this feeling of like, I love my friends, I can’t wait to see them, I do miss them a lot, but at the same time I’m good.” She also makes a good point, saying, “I like being alone. I haven’t had this time off since like I was like 12, so yeah, it’s crazy.”
Billie also went into detail about how the world needs to appreciate the downtime while they have it. “If I’m being real, I feel like as soon as we can see people again and go out, we’re going to be so happy and grateful, and in about three days, we’re all going to take it for granted again.”
