Taylor Swift Cleverly Responds To Video Of An Old Conversation Between Her And Kanye
And the ongoing saga continues between Taylor Swift and Kanye West. Taylor went to her Instagram stories to set the story straight and have her fans focus on more important things.
To recap, an unedited video was leaked over the weekend that shows Kanye and Taylor’s phone conversation of him explaining to her what he planned on saying about her in his song, “Famous.” The new video is very different from the one Kim Kardashian leaked years ago on Snapchat and showed on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, trying to prove the Taylor was aware that Kanye would call her a bitch in the song.
Basically, the whole phone call leaked, revealing Taylor Swift never consented to being called “that bitch.”

She never lied or was a “snake.”
She was recorded illegally and manipulated by Kanye West and everyone owes her an apology.https://t.co/nTZXrJo7yS
When the footage came out in 2016, many turned on Taylor and called her a snake. Now that an unedited video has been released, people have come forward to defend Taylor Swift and turn on the Wests. And based on her response to the whole ordeal, Taylor wants to move on.
She went to her Instagram story and wrote, “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about video footage that was leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE UP to see what really matters.”
When fans swipe up, they are lead to a donation page for Feeding America. In another post, Taylor explains that Feeding America and the World Health Organization are organizations she’s been donating to. She says, “If you have the ability to, please join me in donation during this crisis.”
Since Taylor spoke out, Kim Kardashian has gone on a twitter rant, trying to defend her and her husband. Some of the tweets, including a response from Taylor Swift’s publicist, are below.
.@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange - that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now.

I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.

To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission...” They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bitch” was used without her permission.

I never edited the footage (another lie) - I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.

This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares.

Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters.
I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.
