ORIGINAL STORY
Kelly Osbourne has taken to social media to blast reports that her father, Ozzy Osbourne, is “on his deathbed.”
In a post to her Instagram stories, Kelly wrote, “Today I had a wonderful start to 2020. I went out to lunch with my family. Then spent the rest of the day laughing and hanging out with my dad. I come home to read sickening articles about my dad supposedly being on his ‘death bed.’ Sometimes the media makes me sick!!! It’s no secret that my dad has had a rough year when it comes to his health but come the f-ck on. This is utter bullsh-t.”
The reports Kelly is referring to allege Ozzy “is bedridden in agonizing pain.” Ozzy was forced to postpone his entire 2019 touring schedule due to various health issues, including recovering from a fall at his home. In a video to his social media followers in October 2019, Ozzy said, “As you probably know, or you may not know, at the beginning of this year, I had a bad fall. I screwed all the vertebrae in my neck and had to have surgery. I’ve got a lot more nuts and bolts in my neck now than in my car. I’m not dying, I am recovering — it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would.”
Ozzy is currently slated to return to touring in May in the United States with Marilyn Manson providing support as the opening act. Ozzy is also releasing a new album, Ordinary Man, in early 2020.
