Justin Bieber & Avril Lavigne Found Out They’re Related & They Couldn’t Be More Excited
Justin Bieber may or may not be a skater boi, but he does have an interesting connection to fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne. Thanks to a DNA test—and not the one Lizzo sings about on “Truth Hurts”—Bieber discovered he’s related to Lavigne. Of course, he had to share this news with his Instagram followers.
Bieber shared a photo of his family tree from Ancestry.com, which links him to Lavigne and Ryan Gosling. “I also just found out that I’m related to both Ryan Gosling and Avril Lavigne this is the best day of my life,” Bieber captioned the shot. “It seems super legit it’s on ancestry.com.” If it is, then Lavigne is Bieber’s 12th cousin, while Gosling is his 11th cousin once removed.
It seems Lavigne was just as excited to hear about her new family member, commenting, “I’ll host Christmas dinner this year.” But, what holiday does Gosling get? We’re dying to know.
