Elton John Memoir: Taron Egerton to Narrate Audiobook Edition

Taron Egerton did such an amazing job portraying Elton John in Rocketman that he's been asked to be Sir Elton again, in a manner of speaking. (Literally.)

Egerton will narrate the audiobook edition of John's upcoming memoir, ME, which is due out October 15 via Macmillan Publishers.

In a statement about the audiobook, Egerton said, "Elton John is a fascinating man, at times incredibly intimidating and yet very vulnerable; I have never met anyone like him. I was passionate about my role as Elton in the movie Rocketman and this feels like the perfect closing chapter to the whole experience. I am honored to have been asked to narrate Elton’s autobiography and I’m excited to get started."
