Alice Cooper Announces New Covers EP
Alice Cooper came from Detroit city, and on a newly announced EP, he’s paying tribute to some of the biggest acts to emerge from his hometown.
Breadcrumbs comes out September 13 and not only features covers of some of Detroit’s biggest acts but also some of the city’s biggest names, including MC5’s Wayne Kramer, former Grand Funk Railroad vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Mark Farner, former Detroit Wheels drummer Johnny “Bee” Badanjek, jazz singer Paul Randolph and The Dirtbomb’s Mick Collins.
The covers themselves include songs from the MC5 (“Sister Anne”), Suzi Quatro (“Your Mamma Won’t Like Me”), Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels and The Dirtbombs (“Devil With A Blue Dress On”/ “Chains of Love.”)
