Kanye West Takes Shots At Both Drake And J. Cole On Unreleased Track
Kanye West took shots at both Drake and J. Cole in an unreleased track that has recently surfaced.
The rapper-producer’s previously unheard verse from Pusha-T’s DAYTONA album surfaced via HipHop-N-More, but has since been removed.
In what serves as an extended cut of “What Would Meek Do?,” West name drops both Drake and J. Cole, while also shading Drake’s Nike deal.
“I be thinkin, what would Tupac do/ You be thinkin what new kids on the Block do/ We got cribs on the block too/ Drizzy wearing Yeezy on the low though/ Only repping Nike for promo/ The company growing faster than Flo-Jo/ And we did it with no logo,” West raps, taking shots at Drizzy.
“You heard Cole on that song he was tryna hate,” West raps, referencing J. Cole.
Pusha-T dropped DAYTONA amid his rekindled beef saga with Drake, last year. Although West tweeted last June that he has “never been about beef,” it seems as though the Chicago native was at least considering jumping into the ring.
