Nashville star Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, has been charged following a domestic incident involving the actress last month.
Hickerson was charged with 1 count of felony domestic violence, according to TMZ. He is facing up to four years in prison if convicted.
According to TMZ, earlier this month, the couple was involved in an altercation that turned physical after a reported night of drinking. Law enforcement sources recently told the site that Panettiere’s injuries were far more serious than initially reported.
Hickerson was arrested May 2 after police determined that he initiated the fight. He was released on $50K bond later that afternoon.
On Monday, E! News reported that the couple was seen holding hands in Los Angeles. They have been dating since last year following her split from fiance Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she has a four-year-old daughter.
